The Midtown East location of Haru sushi bar will close at the end of August. The building is undergoing some extensive renovations, and the owners of the restaurant hope to eventually reopen in the same space, or move to another space nearby. A rep notes: "It's a very successful location...Our main concern is being able to serve our delivery customers." [Crain's]

Lawsuits: R-Rated Sexual Harassment Suit Filed Against Cavo
Today, Eater receives paperwork about a sexual harassment lawsuit filed between Mandalyn M. Devagno, Cavo Restaurant in Astoria, manager Toni (last name unknown), and owner Tommy Demaris from attorney Maimon Kirschenbaum. Devagno was a server employed at Cavo from August 2010 until last February, where both Toni and Demaris were present nearly every night of service supervising employees. The list of allegations against Demaris and manager Toni include a lack of payment for tips and hours worked along with some scandalous sexual abuse charges. Here are a few of the really R-rated accusations:
· Defendant Demaris routinely told Plaintiff that he "wanted" her and regularly subjected her to unwelcome sexual grabbing.
· Plaintiff was required to wear a short, black dress while performing her job. On several occasions, Defendant Demaris forcefully put his hands under Plaintiff's dress.
· On several occasions around January 2011, Defendant Demaris put his hand on Plaintiff's groin and grabbed Plaintiff's hand to place it on his own groin.
· On one occasion, Defendant Demaris unzipped his pants and removed his penis in front of the plaintiff. Defendant Demaris then told the Plaintiff to touch his penis.
· Toni (manager) routinely told Plaintiff that he could fire her.
· On or around January 2012, Toni told Plaintiff he was feeling upset, and the could help him feel better by rubbing his body...Toni chased Plaintiff, admonishing her not to walk away from him. Toni then touched Plaintiff's back, and said, "Let's flip a coin. Heads, I do whatever you want. Tails, you do whatever I want."

Enterprise barge trip scheduled for Sunday, Tuesday
On Sunday morning, the Space Shuttle Enterprise is tentatively scheduled to begin its barge trip along New York City waterways toward its new home at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum.
If the weather and tides cooperate, the shuttle will depart JFK on Sunday at 7:45 a.m. The shuttle will not be covered during the trip, but rather will be exposed for full public view, a museum spokesman today told NewYorkology.
A Weeks Marine tugboat will tow the barge from JFK along the shore of Queens and Brooklyn, passing the Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge at 3:30 p.m., Coney Island at 4:19 p.m. and under the Verrazano Bridge at 5:34 p.m. It will dock at 6 p.m. at Weeks Marine in Port Elizabeth in New Jersey, where it will remain until Tuesday morning.
On Tuesday — again dependent on a number of factors including the weather — the barge carrying the Enterprise will depart Weeks Marine at 9:15 a.m. and pass the Statue of Liberty at 9:50 a.m. and near the the World Trade Center at 10:40 a.m. The barge will continue up the Hudson River and arrive at the Intrepid Museum at 11:30 a.m.
The next three hours will be spent lifting the shuttle by crane onto the USS Intrepid’s flight deck. It will face out toward the Hudson River.
The Enterprise is the original NASA test orbiter for the space shuttle program. In recent years it has been on display at the Smithsonian’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near Washington Dulles International Airport.
On July 19, the Enterprise will go on public display at the Intrepid in a temporary climate-controlled pavilion. Museum officials continue to work on a permanent exhibit facility to showcase the Enterprise.

Germans Still Not So Sure About This Anshu Jain Guy
Tomorrow morning, Anshu Jain will start his new job as co-CEO of Deutsche Bank. Despite having previously overseen operations that produce 90 percent of the firm’s profits in any given quarter, sitting on the management committee, and generally being considered a “star” both within the company and among those who follow his work, chief executive officer is a title no one thought AJ would be given if he remained at DB, because 1) people back in Germany don’t like that he’s an investment banker and 2) “In Germany, no one can imagine an Indian working in London who does not speak German being CEO of Deutsche Bank.” To the haters’ chagrin, though, that’s exactly what’s about to happen. And if they want to continue bitching about it, they can be Jain’s guest– their insults go in one ear and out the other.
While Mr. Jain has taken German lessons, he doesn’t speak the language, and Der Spiegel, the country’s best-selling weekly magazine, ran a 12-page cover story earlier this year laying much of the blame for Deutsche Bank’s troubles at Mr. Jain’s feet.
